Pump does not run with jumper wires. Dropped the tank today and pins 3&4 have power while 1&2 do not. This, to me says bad pump. But yes, the fuel pump will run so that eliminates the fuel pump as the problem.

Just a thought, if the fuel rail is at max pressure the rail pressure sensor won't demand fuel.Pump does not run with jumper wires. Dropped the tank today and pins 3&4 have power while 1&2 do not. This, to me says bad pump.
i had both lines disconnected at the tank so I'm sure there's zero pressure. Before when it was connected their was no pump noise from the tank.I wish I could tell to how to loosen a fitting to run down the pressure or test fuel rail pressure sensor, but I don't how.
