But yes, the fuel pump will run so that eliminates the fuel pump as the problem.

Pump does not run with jumper wires. Dropped the tank today and pins 3&4 have power while 1&2 do not. This, to me says bad pump.

Just a thought, if the fuel rail is at max pressure the rail pressure sensor won't demand fuel.
I don't remember the max psi. I think it's 14 or 15 psi.
The pump does not run continually, it's a closed loop system, there isn't a return line.
When I started my truck, the pump ran 2 to 4 seconds sometimes not at all it depends how long she sat before starting.

I wish I could tell to how to loosen a fitting to run down the pressure or test fuel rail pressure sensor, but I don't how.

i had both lines disconnected at the tank so I'm sure there's zero pressure. Before when it was connected their was no pump noise from the tank.
