That blows, no problem. Go to the site and download that driver for the module and you will be good.

Remember, when you plug into your vehicle make sure you save your stock info.

Also, triple check the selection before typing in those numbers or you could make catastrophic changes. So many tiny numbers.

Thanks you. I was able to download the drivers and just finished saving all the modules. I’ll definitely triple check the numbers definitely. Thanks for the advice

Hey, me again. I’m stuck, could you assist again? I was doing find going through the process to back up all the AS BUILT, but when I get to the step with the “warning” Module Configuration (AS BUILT format) and hit ok it doesn’t advance to the proper page to allow for back up (see pictures). I reread the instructions and can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. I’ve downloaded the free key as well.

Click on the steering wheel icon with the ? on the bottom left.. Does it show you have an extended license? You may need to browse to the key you downloaded from that page for it to apply

Hi All I have a 2020 Ford Raptor and I’m in the process of backing up all the original Module formats before making any changes.

I read on the Forscan Forums that you should not save/back up the “PCM Module Configuration (AS BUILT format), which is the first module on my truck. After completing all original back ups, I inadvertently back this one up. Can I simply go to my computer hard drive file and delete this, or would I need to start over? I’m assuming it’s ok to delete as I, only backing up and not trying to reinstate to the trucks computer.

Also, on the same Forscan Forum, it reads you should avoid starting the Truck while backing up the Module AS BUILT, however, my Truck prompts me to start the Truck after a while, otherwise, it completely shuts off. I had to start the struck during the back up Module process, and one time, the power completely shut off, do I need to start over?

You cannot change anything in the pcm so that's probably why they say don't waste your time backing it up.

You should have a seperate abt. file for each module you save. In the tutorial it states to not save the PCM RELEARN. So you are fine. You can delete whatever abt file you want and save the new file if your worried its corrupt or something. All of these files are being stored on your laptop. Find the folder with the files and verify that they are there. If you want to delete the PCM file you can do that. There is no need for the file but i don't see any harm on accidentally storing the data.
