400 miles is a little on the excessive side, the better part of a tank of fuel, and even in Texas that’s not that cheap.

I would

- ask the service manager if it would ok for you to borrow his car for 400 miles, just to make things even. No? what does he/she think is a fair resolution?
- go over the vehicle for signs of off road use.
- notify Ford Customer Service of this abuse, regardless of whether it’s been off road.
- stealership owner needs to be involved in further discussions.

In my narrow, military mind; Full tank of super unleaded, agreement to effect the repairs they should have completed the first time, with a loaner platinum F150 or super duty. Repairs to be completed in agreed upon time frame before your truck is dropped off.
Good thoughts, but I'd go for the maximun, per-mile allowed in your state as minimum compensation. On the other hand, you can kinda understand the temptation.

I’ll let the OP post a update not to step on his toes but I have been in contact with the OP. Its a really awful situation , think joyride , neglect , and then some more on top of it.
First, good for you for getting in touch with the OP. Your advice has been solid. Really good people here on the forum!
By the sounds of it, this will all play out in favor of the OP. If it's as bad as it sounds, I'd ask for a premium extended warranty like mentioned earlier but it would be on the NEW truck they provided me with. That's a 70k truck not some run of the mill F150 STX.

Even if they gave you a premium warranty for your current truck, If what they did was really bad, then god knows what damage has been done. Short term and long term. So how many service appointments and days will u be out of your truck getting "warranty" work done bc of their negligence during your duration of ownership??!!

I wouldn't want that frustration and unforeseen hassle lingering over me. But that's me. Good luck to the OP and very curious to how this all turns out!

I’m not sure I want the truck anymore after watching the video. Really disappointed and as others have mentioned, may not ever get to post the video. On the other hand, I may get to post it soon. Depends on how they respond.

I am sorry for what you experienced. For what we pay for our trucks we should get the same respect that they would give you at a Porsche Dealership. I live in N.Y. and own a 2019 purchased from Sayville Ford...But I was hustled at Levittown Ford in 2015 for a demo vehicle that i bought 2015 f150 xlt that was actually in an accident and never reported to owners of dealership because service guys hit the truck and the other car put a claim in...so dirty car fax my trust worthiness never requested a carfax on a truck with 3500 miles...got a lawyer and there tone changed quickly. No brainier when they heard lawyer! They literally put me into a 2015 Lariat loaded 64k for the cost of xlt..long and short of it that lariat was my down payment on my Raptor....so brother start yelling lawyer...contact Ford be relentless!! We work all very hard for our trucks our family's no one is entitled to take advantage of us or our belongings. Good luck God Bless

I wouldn’t want the truck either, a free extended warranty doesn’t even begin to compensate for this IMO

hang in there man, I feel for you, don’t back down
