Sigh.This prob already been answered but how does this work ext warranty ? I got the 7 years 100k warranty, base off of most of the reply I've seen seems like it'll get knock down to 3 / 36?
I think powertrain drops to 3/36 from date of purchase.Sigh.
Your warranty is still 7/100. Dealer has to prove the tune caused the issue.

I think it has to do with the warranties. They dont want to put that tune on a fresh 24 with a full warranty, they decided to put it on ones that their warranties are getting ready to expire.I still don't understand why they left out the '24s. Same hardware since '21 and the ECU is the same as '23. Would love to know who is making these decisions at Ford.
This, is mostly likely the reason. Why let someone raise hell with an extra 16hp for a full 36K miles when you can sell it to people with 15-30K already on the clock. If this had zero effect on the warranty it wouldn’t be available to gen 3s at all.I think it has to do with the warranties.
