Of all companies affected, Ford was 1st on scene to assist getting Meridian running again.
sure

FCA Windsor reduces Chrysler Pacifica production. Tooling moved to Strathroy, ON.
Pacifica's liftgate uses an aluminum outer panel bonded to a 1pc cast magnesium inner structure – one of the largest Cold chamber High-pressure die-castings in high-volume production. Reduction in pieces from 7 to 1, reduction in weight from 24 lbs to 15.1 lbs from previous generation. Allows for total assembly weight reduction of over 22 lbs.

GM Wentzville temporarily production halt GMC Savana/Chevrolet Express vans.

BMW Spartanburg X5/X6 experiencing interruptions.

MB Tuscaloosa cancels shifts/adjusts production.

May 18, Ford resumes F150 production @ both plants. magnesium rad support structure

This really only holds true for products that don't really have much or any competition. The Raptor may fall into such a category but the F-series as a whole most certainly does not. This setback includes, but is not limited to the Raptor. There's zero chance this helps Ford.

This post and especially the one below it really just sound like they were made by folks who paid MSRP+ and trying to plant seeds of doubt so others give up waiting on MSRP deals.

73 days worth of F-150 inventory sitting on dealer lots, so should't impact sales much assuming this is not a multi-month shutdown.

agree, supply and demand. Sorry you guys have to wait but happy for me who bought just over msrp a couple months ago. This will definitely wipe out the current msrp deals or at least limit them.

Some of the thinking in here amazes me.... I’ve heard of the the “ me too movment “ but the “ me me me me “ one seems just as popular
