Well, I hope they can do something about it. It's not just Ford or automobiles either. What about milk being $7 a gallon at some stores and other stores it's $4.99, it's the same shi t , I've seen so many big business's taking advantage of consumers.

Love it. If they keep it up it could result in changes to allow direct purchasing from manufactures.
That will never happen, If dealers disappear then why would you even go there for warranty work, you'll start to see people taking their cars to Walmart for service, lol. It's bad enough already out there, still need a place to go that Ford can represent for service.

Not sure how much truth there is to this, but I read on a Raptor FB group that west coast dealers are buying trucks from out of state dealers for markup and then selling those trucks for an even higher markup. Pretty wild if true

I wish if they did that, that they were considered used trucks, that would stop some of the stealership shenanigan's from happening.

That shift has already been happening over the years. Friends n family in auto service say they've been busier than ever and get a lot of comments from those customers to the effect $tealerships are WAY too expensive. These days the expense might be worth it if it were not for the ever dwindling quality of the service at those prices.

We bought a 2022 Mercedes few months back. Before we purchased the car, first thing I did was find a quality shop run by former Mercedes mechanics for service. Trust in $tealerships for me is not just about the high prices either.
