CarF*ck is the worst!!! My wife had a MB. Never in a crash (not even a scratch on it) with all scheduled maintenance performed. We went to trade it in and told the dealer it was clean. They called me a short time later basically accusing me of lying because the car f*cks said it had been in 4 crashes!!!! One in Oklahoma!!! The car NEVER left NJ!!!! They also over reported the miles by nearly double and had services performed in parts of the state hundreds of miles from our home that we never had been to!!! Tring to contact them is a joke and when I did get an "on-line" response the representative hung up on me "virtually" when I typed that I thought it was ridiculous (no profanity, just the word ridiculous) that they said it was on ME to prove their reporting was wrong. They are TOTAL D-BAGS. I got no where until I contacted NY 7 On Your Side News. Luckily I keep extensive records. They did a news story on it and the car-f*cks finally corrected the report because they were shamed into it on TV. I have a ton of messages on my Ford-Pass saying my truck is overdue for service because I don't use a car-f*ck reporting shop to perform oil changes or tire rotations. The problem is that they have been deemed by car companies and shops, that get a kick-back from them for reporting, as the gold standard so they are automatically believed over you.

If I ever saw that Car-Fox on the road, I'd run his ass over!!!

Good luck!!!
lol yeah f'ck that fox.... It's unbelievable the shit they get away with.
you can find others with the same issue and then find a lawyer who could file a class action. at least this way its no fee to you if the lawyer decides to take the case
That should be the avenue I take. Really should. Thanks

Ford. Shame on them.

I wonder if this came about because he ordered the parts through "official channels" via his own body shop.

If I went into a dealer off the street and wanted replacement parts, or ordered off an OEM website, would I have to provide my VIN?

Doesn't justify Carfax's thuggery, though.

I have the opposite problem. Bought my used Raptor from a Ford dealership out of state with a clean carfax to find out that it had been in a wreck [emoji3].

That's horrible, thanks for writing it up. Hadn't considered how insane this crap is becoming.

So....always request (and then inevitably sue) insurance for diminution of value if you get any kind of damage that goes on a carfax. Otherwise your insurance is only effectively paying half the cost of the damage that they insured you for.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience.
Yeah man for sure. just don't want anyone else getting railroaded.

Out of curiosity, how was your vehicle's VIN tied to the replacement parts you ordered?
Short answer we gave them VIN, Long answer whenever you order parts its standard to give a vin in case there are small variations in the parts per the model of your car. That way there is no confusion on the parts ordered. LAST time I ever give a vin.

I think your correct if you order through a web based application and you don't have to give your vin your ok.

I have the reverse problem. Bought my used Raptor from a Ford dealership out of state with a clean carfax to find out that it had been in a wreck [emoji3].
Ughhhhh man Sorry and yes I agree procedures should be in place to safeguard against it in your case but to make this process so difficult to get it removed makes no sense. I hope it works out for you bud.

Went to the place where we ordered the parts from. I had them write me an email and got some more documentation. I will keep you posted. If this isn't acceptable documentation then I don't know what else to do. Maybe drive my truck through Coreys living room so then he will have a reason to list damage lol I dunno...
