Your picturing mechanism must be malfunctioning... this is a Forbes article. Liberal millennials in skinny jeans are not their target haha.

Rob Reed seems like an interesting fellow with a lot of varied experiences. And he owns a Raptor. All things that are the antithesis of liberal millennial hipster ********** :)

You got me... I was just imagining where a lot of publications get their articles.

So a millennial hipster will be copy pasting Rob Reed's articles on regarding all things internal combustion... There ya go.

I am picturing this liberal millennial ********* with the urban lumberjack skinny jeans look and an ironic beard... copy pasting this article.

Hey guys, this is me. The article clearly isn't for this audience. Thanks for linking to it and for being a great resource. I'm now going to do a build story with all of this stuff

Can you please confirm for the audience whether or not your a "liberal millennial ********* with the urban lumberjack skinny jeans look and an ironic beard"?

We need to know these things to determine how to properly berate you for your recommendations. Not that they are right or wrong but you must be flogged none the less. That is the proper way of doing things around here.

Also, nice rig...

Edit: not really a fan of those Yakima's your recommended. They've only got 180lbs dynamic loading and 300 lbs static. Something like the Max Modular is better IMO with 300lbs dynamic and 700lbs static. That especially important with a large RTT like my iKamper XCover with both me and my wife. No problem with the other recommendations.

I'm a Gen-Xer living in Utah with a clean shave. But I write for people who just want to be told what to buy. They won't invest the time to do the research...and damn it takes a lot of time!

So psyched about the Raptor. I like all ways to drive fast. And UT has so much terrain.

Yeah, if you go with the Retrax, the bed rack won't hold too much. This story is really a preview. The build story will be more critical reviews from actual usage...and the actual truck. I'm hesitant to rivet the KC rack to the roof, but I'm doing it for the story.

Hey Max! Genuine question: how’d the big brake kit snag the #1 spot?

Good job, Max. Those T-AK1 wheels are badass. I hadn't seen those before, but they make me consider changing out my stock wheels.

I would have thought that fog/driving lights and maybe back up lights as they seem to be used by everyone ?

The only things I can include are the companies that actually get back to me when I reach out and want to give them press. So bad PR/marketing departments are to blame for a few omissions. I'll definitely have a 20" light bar in the build story, and the KC rack will have a chase bar that should work as back-up lights
