Again a different call for the rear diff. 2012 calls for 75w-140

If you notice Ford says in the notes that the rear end, unless submerged in water, is lubricated for life with the synthetic lube, but every pic I've seen of the lube coming out looks pretty weird , grey and strange, I wonder if it's something special from the factory besides normal gear lube?
I like AMS oil but after watching this, I'm going to do Royal Purple.

The ford lube is dark grey. That's normal. It's the milky foam that's worry some. If you off-road your raptor it'll be submerged
Thanks for all the info gents, got it all done with Amsoil. I've done the engine and already see my mpg climbing, so that's awesome. I haven't done the rear diff yet, but to chime in on this thread my manual (2013) says 75W-140, and my local amsoil guy said to add in SlipLock as a modifier. From the sound of it, I don't need that?
Also my manual says transfer takes Mercon LV. Haven't taken a look for that Ford stamp yet but I'm assuming it's there based on my manual.
You do NOT need the sliplock additive in your rear differential. The locking rear diff doesn't require it.
