think its about time you take a drive. i drove 16hours to a dealer another raptor member recommended. still didnt fix my problem, but they did rebuild my trans under warranty where other dealers wouldnt. i known palm desert is kinda far from everywhere, but i think a trip west or east into az might be in your future.

Another thing to check since you are at it, is the Mass Airflow Sensor. If you are running an oiled K&N, they will foul the element on the MAS causing idle and other issues.

I have experienced this on a different truck. I've never run an oiled air filter on any vehicle since that occurred.

I've been running an oiled air filter for 8 years now on this SC Raptor and over 20 years between three Tahoes.

Never had an issue!!!!!

When done right, (meaning you follow the directions to the letter), there will be no issue!!!!!

Congrats....

For the OP... I suggest you clean or replace the MAF sensor as they will create running/idle issues if they are dirty or oil fouled. I dont know the condition of yours, so its just a cheap/easy place to look for a solution.

It wasn't the K&N filter, he has a PCM software issue.

Transmission Lead Frame-replaced
Trans valve body and solenoids-replaced
Trans seals-replaced
Optima red top battery-replaced
MAF sensor-replaced
Throttle body-replaced
K&N filter cleaned-

No check engine or wrench right now.
My obd2 scanner says no codes currently present in Drivetrain or Emissions.

Called dealership 2 days ago to ask about pcm programming or flashing and have not heard back. Like it was suggested, looking at taking it out of area to another more capable dealership than mine.

Anybody been to Galpin Ford in Burbank?
I’m in Palm Desert, about 2 hours away...
