So how much are you paying and what options? I priced out a TRX comparable to the Raptor with the 801A package and it was around $9000 more from what I remember. Just FYI the Raptor I have in order has the 801A with power tech . The MSRP is approx. $73,000. That’s about where the base TRX starts I believe.

Just went on the Ram truck site. I configured a 2021 TRX comparable to the Raptor I ordered. $9000 more. Did you find a dealer giving rebates on the TRX 2022s? If so, please share with us.

I ordered a 2022 TRX with an MSRP of $84k which was about the same as a similar spec'd out 2021 Raptor but with 37's. I am paying invoice @ $78k.

There are a few dealerships offering $5,000 and $5,500 off MSRP and one dealership offering 4% under invoice.

Enjoy!

But you’re not getting 37s on the TRX. So if you take the 37 package off of the Raptor then that takes it down $7,500. You’re not comparing equally equipped trucks. Unless the TRX is offering a 37 package in 22? I even have a relative that works for Chrysler.

Just went and priced TRX a minimum 10k more than a 35 Raptor with similar packages.

Dude I’m not even a big fan of dodge or TRX or Ram, but that logic is ridiculous- no, it’s not an equal comparison since the Ram doesn’t offer a 37” package….but it DOES offer a supercharged 707hp V8 “package”, & I venture to guess more prospective buyers would place a higher value on the blown V8 than the beefier tires & nifty sticker lol!!!

that being said- Raptor is superior in looks & suspension overall, in drivetrain setup & available modes (no 2wd in TRX) & I think the Ford/GM 10 speed is better overall than the ZF 8 speed (& if I were wrong? My guess is the TRX would have 2wd option then lol)

I personally like the TRX also. But the point of this to begin with was that you were saving thousands over a comparatively equipped Raptor. This is simply not true. You’re using Joe Biden logic. Both come with only one engine option, you can’t change that. With equal equipment the TRX is always thousands more. Even if you get a $5,000 rebate.
