Sorry guys. If you're interested I'd say to go ahead and reach out to izzy. Looks like some already have (see post just above this) so my recommendation would be to get in touch with him so he sees the actual demand from people willing to get this done as opposed to who is just a tire-kicker.

I just came back from Death Valley and I can honestly say that being able to get to camp and remove the shocks (and get it right back to stock) is by far the best mod I could ever do to my truck. STILL couldn't be happier with it.

Can you post his contact info again?

Damn dude. Info was literally one post before the one you replied to. Here it is again (from pup)

I spoke with Izzy today and he says that they're still interested in doing the kit, but they've been slammed getting a few projects out. It sounds like they're a small shop just getting started, so it's perfectly understandable. But he told me that there's been a lot of interest and that it's something that they need to put back on the front burner. I'd suggest that if you're interested and haven't called or messaged them about it, that you do so to make sure that they know how many willing buyers there are. And maybe if you contacted them a while back, send them a quick note to remind them.

Here's their contact info -

Just curious if you ever leave the shocks installed but aired down to minimum (100 psi?). If so how’s the ride on asphalt? Basically curious if I can get away without having to remove the shocks every single time I disconnect a trailer.

That’s a great question. I think I might have mentioned it here somewhere, but if not......
There is absolutely no problem in leaving them on the truck. I thought the ride would be really stiff, but airing them down to about 150 lbs yields a ride that’s really not much different than the ride without them on there. I actually didn’t take the shocks off when we got home from this last trip and have them on my truck right now.

Nice setup. Thanks for sharing. Now I need to find a shop in TX or draw up and fab my own (ambitious, I know).

Was wondering the same question, could you just let all the air out and not have to ever remove them.??

I believe that you have to keep some pressure in them so that they extend without too much strain on I would guess the joints, but according to the post above, 150lbs in them doesn't change the ride much. Of course, they'll obviously wear out sooner if you keep them in all the time. One of the advantages of this setup however would be that they're a cinch to remove. I'd say for towing trips, it wouldn't be an issue just to reduce the pressure once you unhitch - you'll probably have some extra weight in the back anyway if you're camping.

That’s correct. You do have to have some pressure in the shocks. I always have some stuff in the bed and at 150 lbs, having the shocks on there, when not towing, is unnoticeable.
