Thanks for the reply, unless Izzy gets this soon I’m going to try to have someone do this here but not sure I can find the right person to figure it out.
How much time do you spend in that airstream per year? It looks awesome!

On average we spend about 2 weeks a month or more in it. It's a great setup for us because no matter where we go and/or how remote the area is, out accommodations never change. We run solar and I have the ability to shuttle water back from town if we need to so we can be out for long periods without ever needing to hook up to anything. I have tons more pics and videos at www.GM3SFcom . Check it out.

With as much towing as you do I know you use the blue ox now and you like it OP but did you ever consider an Andersen wd? If so what swayed you to blue ox? Curious and thanks for any insight.

Jeez, those andersen hitches are a royal pain in the ass to use. That's the standard WD hitch offered by the company that made our trailer and people are constantly bitching about them on the forum.

I also have the blue ox, I switched the chains to ratchet straps off of amazon that makes it so you don’t have to jack it up while connecting.
GM3SF, I need your job. 2 weeks a month would be awesome!!!!

We actually had a Equalizer brand hitch on our previous airstream and it was horrible. Most WDH's are messy and not very user friendly. With the Blue Ox grease is inside the unit. Plus, it's not noisy like the previous hitch was.

Also, Ryan Anderson and his wife were just caught vandalizing Corona Arch so I wouldn't give him the time of day much less buy one of his shit hitches.

I was going to mention that in my last post. A friend of mine was one of the people that initially posted the picture of him (actively doing that) asking people to identify him. I guess I have to give the guy credit though. He gave a pretty sincere apology:

I read though that this wasn't the first time. And he refused to stop when asked, even told his kids to go change the license plate on their car.

Who carries around license plates to swap out, unless they know they're going to do something wrong?

My take is that he's well practiced at giving apologies.
