I had the TSB done on my 21 about 15k-20k ago or so. At 33k and its basically the same annoying noise. TSB never worked. Goes away after 20-30 seconds like before. Last week, my Dad was like your truck has something going on lol. Took it in recently again and they the tech said it was from the turbo wastegate...definitely not. It's clearly heard in the back. Not sure if it's worth the hassle to take it back in. With kids, kids sports and work ain't nobody got time for that. I feel they are just hoping I go away.

Sit there with the door open in an instance where you can hear the rattle and switch the exhaust mode from normal to sport. If the rattle stops it’s the exhaust valve. If not something else. Probably the exhaust valve though. I wish it would just default to sport.

I am right there with you. I think it is back on my 21 also. I thought the same thing about not sure if it is worth the headache to go back to the dealer that couldn't diagnose it to begin with until there was a TSB out for it. I also have issues with the IWE's that they can't diagnose. It is one of those ghost things that never seems to be present for the dealer to notice.

I just took delivery of my 25 last Monday. I love the truck, but nearly every start I have an exhaust rattle. I can change modes and it helps quiet it down. Sometimes it is fine in normal mode start, but that is rare. Reading this thread, I'm not sure if I should bring it in for TSB or just learn to live with it as many are saying the symptoms come back? Should I be pushing for a replacement of the full exhaust? Sad for what we pay for these trucks.

Same here. 2025 with a very loud rattle at start up. I didn’t hear it early on but it has gotten much more noticeable. I take her in on Friday. Hoping it gets fully fixed and doesn’t affect the sound at start up (which I like)

Please keep me updated and Ill do the same.

I go in for a fender wheel flare replacement tomorrow and I'm going to mention it to my salesman to see if we can talk to the service department. We found a slight scratch when purchasing so the dealer is replacing the passenger side. It is definitely the exhaust or a heat shield. I can quickly change the exhaust to another mode and it changes the noise. Driving away cold it can make some weird noises too like maybe one of the exhaust valves is kinda stuck. IE when in quiet mode and I kinda get on it exhaust is loud for a second then reverts back to quiet.

Yes, will do. I haven’t played around with drive modes to see if that affects my exhaust rattle, but I have changed exhaust setting to quiet during the first few minutes of start up and it dampens the noise. I haven’t driven it cold…always warms up until the rpm’s drop. I remember my ‘22 did not like being driven cold so I don’t do it with this one. In my experience, it takes several minutes for these things to wake up and drive properly…that said, an exhaust rattle should be part of that process. I’ll keep you posted.
