I'll have to give Adams a try when I get my 14 I ordered in tuxedo black ...hopefully sometime in January. Any suggestions on what I should do right when I pick her up? Clay bar..sealant and clear bra?

DO NOT LET YOUR DEALER WASH IT! Yes it sucks, but taking delivery of a dirty truck will prevent some lazy porter at the dealership from putting swirl marks in the paint. When you get it home, 2-bucket wash, iron decontamination (CarPro Iron-X or Adam's Deep Wheel Cleaner), rinse, dry, clay bar, and sealant. Optional, you could add a wax for more protection on top of the sealant.

My suggestion and what I did. Is pickup the truck wash, clay bar, polish, wax, and seal the paint. Then right after that I had the entire truck wrapped with the xpel paint protection film. This has saved me multiple times offroad.

My process was:

wash & dry (2 bucket with grit guards, dry with Master Blaster Sidekick & drying towel)
Clay
touch-up paint to the 3 spots of paint that were chipped before i was able to protect it
Xpel film to leading surfaces
light polish in a couple spots
Adams Machine Sealant x3 coats

I would have used Opti Coat, but my detailer that applies it couldn't work out a time to get it done (I live 2 hours from him & have a tight schedule).

I also had to rewash after the Xpel, because it was a week apart from the rest. I wanted to seal over the Xpel, so I had washed & clayed the surfaces to be protected by the film, then had to go back later and finish the rest of the truck.

They guys are leading you on the right track. Insist that the dealer does NOTHING to it, prep-wise, as it's very likely it will be worse off than it started.

In a nutshell;

Wash
Clay
Polish
Seal
Glaze
Wax

Any of the above steps can be omitted, but those that you do perform should be done in the above order to get the best results our of the products you use.

Congrats by the way!!
