Lots of people dump vehicles when they damage them or when they get tired of having it fixed too often. Brand new is a crapshoot, but used is an even bigger crapshoot. You have a much higher chance of getting a lemon, and you can't always tell by looking. If you can afford it, don't ever buy used.
