Funny thing was a lady hit the front of mine when the wife was driving. It was around $3200 to fix and the headlight was $1600 of the cost because it was pushed back and broke the bracket.

Trade it in as is to the dealer you are going to buy from. This is one way to guarantee there will be no depreciation on the vehicle. If they start to argue it's diminished simply ask, do you not trust your own body shop to fix it right?

Fix it and then sell/trade. I would never buy a "damaged" Raptor in the hopes of a screaming deal or otherwise. I'd be too worried about what else needs repaired once tore into it. You are out $500.00.

Don't let your burning desire to get the Tremor cloud your judgement on this one.
This says it. Fix and then walk

The only downside (other than the deductible) of having your insurance pay to fix it is that it goes on Carfax as having had damage.

My 2020 recently kissed sustained damage on the rear passenger door, on the cab between the door and the bed, on the bed and slightly on the flare. There was actually a piece of the aluminum the size of a pea that was ripped off and stuck in the wood gate of my baja house.

I went to my trusted auto body shop. He said that the repairs would be over $5000. I told him I wanted to avoid claiming it on my insurance. He told me that paying out of pocket would keep it off of Carfax and only charged me $3600 and it is perfect.

Two points:

1. Insurance will report damage to Carfax
2. Search around and find a good shop that will charge you less than they are charging insurance.

finding a replacement factory headlight will be the most expensive part of the fix.

Pop the plastic extension back in place. Replace the cracked headlight.

Most people who go to an aftermarket bumper can't give them away, you can find one on the cheap. Maybe try calling some of the offroad shops near you that work on raptors? one of them will know an owner who's truck is in the shop that would LOVE to get rid of the front bumper.

I'll bet that you're "fixed" for around $1500 with a pretty small time investment.

I had mine appraised at the dealer after it was fixed and it was on Carfax but it was minor and the dealer only deducted $1500 off due to the Carfax
