Nah, I knew they were ATs, but the stock BFGs look just as good (at least by looking at the pics) as these Wildpeaks. I just like the more aggressive pattern of MTs, but not the weight & road noise that come with those looks. I love the look of the General Grabbers Red Letters but it seems like previous owners bitch about wet traction, which is not a good trait to have down in these parts. I'll just have to check them out in person, for now I'll take y'all word for them.
I can validate the "terrible wet traction" claims on the Grabbers. Luckily, it doesn't rain much in SoCal, but when it did I had to be careful!

the BFGs arent as good. ive ran both. my truck actually came with them from factory. and the falkens blow the BFG's away in pretty much every aspect. wet road traction is amazing. its been raining all weekend here. total amounts so far since friday are around 3-4 inches. highways have puddles 1/2" deep in the wore out spots. and the falkens dont wander at all when hitting them.

I know all these posts sound like im a falken spokes person lol, but they're just that damn impressive to me. just looking at the tread patterns will show you how the falkens are good. they let water, mud etc. expace the treads, and dont clog up or hold water like BFG's do. they offer great steering feedback on loose surfaces, yet the edge lug blocks provide fantastic forward momentum in sloppy stuff and snow.

Haha yeah no kidding. But they're just that damn good in my opinion.

If I go 37s next time I do tires it'll probably be wildpeaks but only because Goodyear doesn't make duratracs in that size.

I've only had one set on the fx4 I had before the raptor. I wouldn't even know about them except they were tested when they came out in some offroad and jeep magazines I read. For the price they were a better deal then the BFGs....

You folks worried about the weight are worrying over nothing. It may be a few lbs heavier then other tires. But the longevity, quietness, etc make it worth it. Not to mention its a 6,000+ lb truck. You won't notice a few extra lbs of tire at all.
