Fabtech 4 inch lift pros and cons

I have a 2018 with a 4 inch Fabtech lift. I did elect to go with Deaver 4+ rear springs to eliminate any block in the back and the potential axle wrap. While doing so I had the Wimple Stage II kit installed along with a custom tune and Borla exhaust.. It is putting out 600 HP and I like the fact when I tow my boat that the rear doesn't sag. With the work by Karl Krohn at API racing here in Salt Lake City, this thing now flies. No loss of ride or off-road ability as far as I can tell and that is after having the Raptors course here in Utah and well as two trips to Moab. Perhaps things change, but after 6 months of lighting it up I have had zero problems.

I have a nearly identical setup, and so far (about 500 miles) like the setup. I went into this truck knowing what it was being used for (I don't live anywhere near a desert so not running the Baja 1000 anytime soon)...comfortable driving. All of my off-roading happens in my Jeep (photo below).

So far the truck doesn't feel "ruined" (ha), but I do love the ride height, power from my Goosetune, and lots of other features.

Not everyone uses their truck the same way, thankfully.

It's taking all my willpower not to delete this thread and ban the OP.
Id say leave it a little longer for a couple reasons...

One, it took me a while to draw that picture lol . Two, we are finding all the members that are running lift kits which you can build one big ban list with... hahah

Thats the second time I have seen that video. Scary...

On a side note, there are plenty of guys in other trucks running the famed Rough Country Lift Kit with the off set poke wheel/tires (which is all for show) and for what? To me it does nothing, lacks a good purpose and a waste of money.

Haha. Well, I guess count me in for the ban, I'm guilty!

BTW that is a sweet drawing. Nicely done.

This is all very interesting to me for a number of reasons: forums are great to hear about common problems, issues and to have group input when you have a query. With my CTSV the forum is very similar with the exception of the "why would you do that to your car (in the Raptor's case truck)?" People are all about power, performance and looks with complimentary input pretty much exclusively for those with CTSVs both old gen and the last iteration, mine (love it). Beyond that, this Raptor forum has a generally heavy negative commentary for those that dare to make a physical change to the appearance/performance of "THEIR" Raptors primarily in regards to adding a lift (but not exclusively).

I bought my 2019 Raptor lifted by the dealer with a 100k warranty on the lift alone but includes the drivetrain as well. I want it for a specific reason; off road camping with a custom short bed Lance 650 camper piggyback. I have no desire to really use the Baja drive mode as intended but love off road mud and a bit of rock climbing, that will work I'd say a bit better than a stock Raptor.

I first posted pics of my truck when I signed up for this site, no negatives and a gentleman welcomed me kindly. After reading the negative comments here on the lifted Raptors, I think I will concede to the haters and cancel my account (I'm guessing I won't be missed, lol). One last pic for the haters for I have done a lot to prep her for the camper from: 2500lb rear leaf's and performance mods (geez, am a CTSV guy) for the little 3.5L born from the Great Ford GT and of course exhaling with proper exhaust;-)
