WhatExit seems a little uptight about the Gen 1's. I guess I don't understand all the hate on the Gen 1's and all the love for a truck that hasn't even hit the market yet. Makes ZERO sense to me. Be anxious. I get that. But hating on a previous model that made it all happen? SMH

Yes, I too love my Gen 1 and the sound and the handling and the fact that there are tens of thousands of them doesn't matter to me. They are still a lot more rare than a jeep or a cavalier......and after a few years they are still worth what we paid for them. Be interesting to see of the Gen 2's hold their value like that. I hope they do.....

ZERO fear. Dude, these are just trucks, and this is just the internet. What's to fear? LOL And I sincerely hope, for all the Gen 2 buyers, that the new truck is great. As far as this place dying, go visit any Gen 2 site or any other Raptor forum for that matter, and you'll see that this place is as healthy as it's ever been.

Every succeeding generation of any model should be an improvement of the preceding models, but there will always be owners that think their generation is the best. What gets us Gen 1 guys heated up is all the talk about how the Gen 2 is gonna just shit all over the Gen 1's. I definitely do not believe that. And if that makes me a hater, so be it.

And seriously, I'm not blinded by anything. It is fairly entertaining watching you some others get all lathered-up as soon as something disparaging is mentioned about a model that hasn't even hit the market yet. So, keep up the good work at keeping the rest of us entertained. Can't wait for the next sneak peek video from Ford so you have something new to talk about for a few days while the rest of us are out in the world with our existing heaps of antiquated shit bombing down the road and LOVING the sound!!!

I hope Ford keeps building better and better Raptors. And, I hope people keep buying them. I've driven Fords for 60 years (yes, 60) and I think they are made the best of any out there. I did not just jump on the wagon so I ain't feeding you a load of crap and I'm not knocking gen II.

Gen I set the bar for ALL other trucks (brands/genII, III, IIII). There's only so much any truck can do without mods. You can only go so fast on a given road and so far, my current truck has done everything I want. I'm happy with it and have no need for anything better/faster.
