My 3rd version is on the way.

In refernce to a part number, this is the new version: #DZ 43200

Big Blue, Where did you purchase yours originally? I talk with someone from Dee Zee CS, and he verified everything (new/old etc) but, he told me that I would need to contact RealTruck.com and have them summit the warranty claim. Which I did, I guess I need to hear from them now. ugh!

Also The part number is the same for both versions.

Okay, mine came 2 days earlier than estimated! Just got it in. Purchased from realtruck and it appears to be the updated model. Pretty small and only a couple of parts and no foam block. Extremely fast shipping from realtruck.

I was lucky...I got mine directly from Dee Zee, so they have my original order info and have been great in trying to fix this issue.

3 minutes if you have the Torx socket The included tool sucks.

Just got my 3rd version tonight!!...and its the New one!! Sweet. Gotta say, that's impressive customer service @ DeeZee.

And to assist for guys further, here are pics of the old version and new version in the package.
