YOu CANT make this stuff up!!! This thread WONT go away! I just called the SAME LADY I dealt with before and she remembered me! This is DEE ZEE directly. She said that all the folks around there had been COMPLETELY confused and the NEW EZ down is indeed the one we thought was new but they didnt know - LOL. THe one is indeed the one form the original schematic you posted early on for me. SO - she is actually sending me out ANOTHER NEW one. THis will be the 3rd plus parts from the 1st!! All I can say is EZ Down and DEE ZEE has the most ridiclous solid customer service I have EVER seen!!! NO CHARGE ....AGAIN!!!

I don't have a side-by-side pic but there are pics of both versions in the previous posts. My order should be here Fri hopefully so I could let you know if it is the new/old style.

SPRSNK already posted several pics of the "New" version on the prior page..Here are a few pics of the "Old" version. Notice the indent on the foam protector in pic #3. The new design is much better.
