I forget the fancy name, but yes, it was 7 years. I think I did the lower mileage option since my commute is only five miles and I don't put that many miles on the truck.

Yeah that would be the same one I am looking at too. It is 7yr/150k kms or 7yr/200k kms as the options.

Extended warranty would be RPG stage 3, tie rods, and upper control arms. Add bumpers, and some good TMX skid plates.

Yeah I guess that the 5yr/100k km would cover all my drivetrain etc anyway so I would know for sure I am good for 5 years of engine/transmission major issues. I am leaning towards not getting it but just don't want to regret it later. 3700 bucks is the cost of it, and thats at dead cost I will have to do some reading to see whats covered and what isnt.

I have the 7 year 100K mile extended and paid like $1500 from an online site for the Ford esp PremiumCare.

yeah I had my price wrong, its 3100 for 7yr/150k kms and 3700 for 7yr/200k kms. Wish I could grab it as cheap as you guys get it. Perhaps I can buy the US version since its compatible across the border. Hmm

Ford Premium Maintenance Plan

Just an FYI the shocks are not covered

Doesn't the Ford Premium Maintenance Plan cover the shocks as "Normal Wear" items as listed in the Plan brochure?

http://www.factoryplans.com/assets/cms/files/brochure_PremiumMaintenance.pdf

The “Normal Wear” Items
Ford ESP’s Premium Maintenance Plan
covers the following items if they fail due
to normal wear:
• Spark plugs (except in California)
• Shock absorbers
• Clutch disc
• Engine belts and hoses
• Brake pads and linings
• Wiper blades

The Ford Premium Maintenance Plan can be purchased in addition to the Ford ESP PremiumCare Plan.
I am seriously considering getting both plans to cover as much as possible on this High-Tech truck for the longest amount of time.
