I heard Ford isn't part of this and they won't warranty the motor with this on it, because if they did you better believe I'd be the first one on this!

As of last I heard this kit is being spearheaded by FRPP and it about 4-6 months away from being final production.

If Ford licenses the product and sells it as a Ford Racing Product and installed by certified Ford tech the vehicle will retain factory warranty. Typically that is how they do there performance parts but I wouldn't hold my breath over a company that will void a warranty for running a K&N filter

If you are going to add boost to your truck, be prepared to get your engine rebuilt if you ever really "DRIVE" it. As soon as that Whipple comes out I will be ordering a new built engine for my Raptor too. Then I'll up the boost, let Jon Lund tune this bad boy and see just how much HP we can get out of it.

Looking forward to following in your footsteps... What are y'alls thoughts on ****/water injection? Is it possible on a roots type sc? With all the heat down here I'm going to be needing to keep things as cool as possible.

Though if properly tuned, boost wont hurt the engine at all. My 4runner has been sc'd for 130,000mi and still going strong.

Well, if anyone follows my footsteps. Good luck! I blow at least 1 engine per year in various vehicles. I also void the warranties on just about everything because I am never quite satisfied with "stock". My Shelby Terlingua for instance: Stock was 8# boost with the Paxton. I have jacked it to 15# now on a built engine. Yea..fear the V6 4.0l with 450rwhp :Jedi: Would have been a lot different if the ******* mod shop would have installed the PCV valve in correctly to begin with..I blew 12# of boost straight into the block (first mod). I'll do the same with the Whipple when it comes out. I'll run it for awhile at the stock configuration, watch my temps, data log then improve the system. This time however I will thoroughly rebuild/redesign the cooling system before increasing the boost.
