Anyone having issues with the motor surging on low acceleration? Started when the weather got cold, the surging or pulsing is most prominent when I first start out and motor hasn't fully warmed up, but seems to always do it.
I'm running Procharger SC custom tune on 62lb injectors (yes I know y'all sayin' that's the cause) but Procharger Techs say it isn't a tuning problem and not their mechanical issue. Ford won't look at it and states it has to be a Procharger problem. few weeks back when It was bitter cold it showed a service code P2196 & P2198 which is: engine trying to lean itself out and front O2 sensor replace. replace the O2, doesn't' blow as much black smoke on hard acceleration but still surges, my vacuum gauge freaks out and bounces from 15 to 0 while the RPM's change very little during the surges.
Runs like a ***** ape with its ass on fire during full acceleration.
I realize my description is rather vague, but figured if anyone has had this issue or knows the cause would understand my symptoms.
2011 SCAB 6.2
DS-1 Procharger super charger
62lb squirters
mild Procharger custom tune
