Now you’re circling back to the warranty denial issue. this has been dealt with already - asked, and answered. I’ve confirmed with the mechanic at my local dealer - drill the CAC, lose your warranty on affected powertrain parts. What is hard for you to understand about this?

So, why do you continue to troll the Gen 2 subforms with what seems to be a pretty blatant attempt to convince someone to lose the warranty on their new trucks?

You said it yourself, I’m a smart guy, and I’m just trying to illustrate to you that your suggestion is not warranted on the 2017 and later trucks.

You’ve proposed your idea, it’s been rejected by the user community.

If your idea was such a great one, it would stand on its own merits here, without you having to resort to trolling, insults to those who disagree with you or call you out, circular arguing, more insults and just outright insistence that you are right.

But you aren’t right and it frustrates you because all of us see you for what you are; someone who, lacking affection and attention from other humans found something on the internet and fixated on. Now you find places to go and post up links to these places so that you can look like someone who knows something, perhaps in the misguided thought that maybe people will then like you, at least on the internet if they don’t like you in person.

But you’re wrong, and you have nothing else so you have to defend the weep hole to your dying keystroke.

Which brings us back to:

Helping the ecoboost owners out with the things I found in my actual research. Sorry that you are not open to this fix. When you get an engine misfire, keep this discussion in mind. There are many here who have shown engine misfire without solution. This may be the fix.... Just saying....

But you’re not helping and now you’re being more dishonest.
Just sayin’.

the only engine misfire issues here have been fixed - poorly gapped plugs, or tuned trucks having the issue.

Your actual research is suspect because you’ve only ever linked to internet forum discussions, which anyone can post into anonymously.

So, you never have heard of the issue of water buildup in the intercooler, and blowing out spark under acceleration? Never heard of the government investigation into Ford about it? What are you missing about the issue itself? Let's discuss your denial of that first.

Now you’re circling back to the research issue. this has been dealt with already - asked, and answered. You have already admitted you cannot come up with any Ford documentation showing that drilling the CAC is an acceptable fix.

What is hard for you to understand about this?

No, you still missed step 1. Do you acknowledge that there has been a verified water buildup issue in the intercooler?

Answer, and we will move to the next question.

No, the question on the table is:

That's the issue. You failed step one in acknowledging that Ford had a water buildup issue in the ecoboost intercooler. The owner community has determined that the true fix is that you can't stop the water from building up. So, the only safe way to evacuate it was to drill the 1/16" weep hole in the intercooler. Problem solved... Been doing it for years with no issues, AND NO LOSS OF WARRANTY. You seem to skip over that because you can't find anyone with a denied warranty due to the weep hole:baby:
Smurf - research and being open minded will be your friend.
