Holy moly! What a bunch of damn comedians we have in here!! I'm glad I never participate in foolishness like that!!!

I wanted to run a small fan under the rear seat and didn't want a cord hanging out of the rear of the console.

You already have 3 receptacles/inputs.
I only have ONE input! Everything else is clearly marked, "Exit Only". I actually had my ex write that on my ass cheeks with a magic marker before my last back surgery. Some laughs were to be had in the O.R. :D

We're they laughing because you were laying on you back? o_O

What about a 12v fan plugged into the cigar lighter next to the 110v?

They were admiring the fact that I have no shame!

That is what I'l do if there's not an easy way to hook into the converter. I've had no luck yet finding a 12 volt fan that doesn't have horrible reliability ratings. 110's you can find all day that will run forever.

I believe the inverter is mounted under the passenger rear seat. Shouldn't be too hard to tap into the wires you need. Since your dealing with more than pedestrian 12v, it may be worth trying to install the plug in a weather proof box like you would see on the exterior of a new house.
