I like that one (Vaultek) since the weapon is at least pointed in the right direction. I've trained for a cross-draw before, but prefer it straight, just seems/feels more intuitive.
Yep me too flipped it on it’s end in the safe. Could have gone in flat without cutting but I like that position better plus it leaves more room in the vault. Also have a magnet mounted on the lower dash above my right leg for quicker access [emoji16]

please, be very careful with this. Magnet mounts will release a Gun in a collision and during aggressive off roading. Additionally there is a high probability of sweeping yourself with this mount position.

whatever you choose to use as a mount, practice deployment with a blue Gun or your unloaded gun to work out the kinks.

I had to deploy a backup Gun from my pocket when one of my duty guns went down. I lit off 4x .357 and lands 4 hits at what we later measured at 40’.

the concussion was like an instant onset migraine.

Yep I agree I only put it there when I feel it’s needed for quicker access and the angle I have it at is perfect and practiced [emoji16] I really like my new setup in the console vault however. Much better for quick access than just laying it in there.

Understood. I just wanted to be sure the point got made. Too many of our “people” give this enough seriousness

Hi, I received my vault today, thanks for the great experience again Nick!

One question, I see earlier posts stating that the included bolts were 1.5” and too short, and to purchase 2” bolts. The bolts that were just included with mine are 1.75” (correctly measured from under the bolt head to the end of the threads). Are these ok, or do I truly need 2” bolts.

Thank you....

You're welcome! Thank you for your patience during the COVID closure at E&G.

The bolts you have are good to go! All of the bolts have been updated in the E&G kits for over a year now! If you have any questions or concerns with installation, please reach out!
