I also would suggest you get a cigarette lighter lowered set of LED lights. I found one on Amazon that had four light strips attached. I placed two inside the safe and two outside to light up the space next to the gun safe. Now I can see in the black abyss

Also I bought some 2” 1/4-20 button head bolts from Lowe’s today and replaced the supplied bolts which allows the mat to lay more flush
