Yeah look into helmholtz resonator or 1/4 branch resonator. It works to quite drone but takes a little trial and error sometimes. Popular on exotic cars and hospital generators/shit like that. Easy to make though.

Yes I have heard of the helmholtz, this is what I told Gary to look into.

Nope. Not sure yet what to do.
Tried sound proofing the cab some and it help very little.

haha yeah. Gary had placed a second X pipe before the x pipe muffler and it seems like it made it worse. I've also been reading info that too long of tail pipes can cause drone.
Thinking about cutting off one pipe for now just as it goes over the axle at a joint to see how it changes things.
Frustrating!

Hmm... Not gonna lie, never had success moving the noise exit from the side of the vehicle to under it when trying to make it quieter in the cab lol

Yes I've heard that too. I just want to try it and see, I can always weld it back on if it changes nothing or makek it even worse.
I also heard different tips can change things, just to many variables to consider.
This shit is starting to drive me insane.lol

That looks like a good read, I'll have to spend some time and read it. Yeah a lot of variables that get time and money consuming. But get something unique and its so rewarding everytime you get on it.
