So I am new to the forscan stuff trying to help a friend and he has a Long list of codes some of them repeat kinda. thought I might ask how to decipher the second half, ex P0722:88-68 output shaft speed sensor what is the 00-68 part? Some of the main part of the code repeats the second half is different. Here is his list

Other things that are unusual, The tac reads almost 0 when running and the speedo is starts around 18 mph and is off by that much at least. not sure if that is part of the lead frame issue or not.(P0722) just for your reference it is a 2012 6.2 some of the codes come from the TPS sensors being gone and possible the aftermarket rear bumper not having sensors. The concerning ones are the P0722, U0415, and the U0401

I can't comment about all those other codes but I just had the p0722 output speed sensor code on my 2012. It is one year older than the extended 10 year warrantee on the lead frame, so no free work from ford, the speed sensor is on the lead frame.
You need a new leadframe (its inside the transmission) to fix it, it should fix the issue with your speedometer. I have read that dealers charge between 1000 to 1500 to replace it but I never got an estimate. I did it myself, the parts are available on Amazon, lead frame, transfer seal, filter, fluid, bulkhead sleeve and maybe a few spare pan bolts (i had 4 strip out when removing, 6mm tap as well) about 330 dollars and a day in the garage. There is an excellent how too video on you tube from Ford tech Maculoco, he has the part links listed if you want to do this yourself. Note: the 4 pan bolts at the rear are right above the exhaust crossover pipe, have a swivel and a 6 inch wobble extension to make those easier to get out.

@RaptorSS what did you do about the programing? (on the dIY) his will need a lead frame that is a given. He has gotten quotes for the price range you mentioned, wasn't sure about the programing.

I just had mine done and just let Ford do it because I was told it needed programming. A lot of confusion or conflicting information on if it’s necessary or not.
Right, just guessing but at the least maybe have FORScan do the shifting relearn?

You (and me too but I'm a cheap bastard and three hundred something is kinda steep) need access to the factory service manual. The numbers after the first code (which the letter represents the module, P is powertrain, B is body control module, etc.) steer you closer to the actual issue. Here's an excerpt from the mexican Exploder manual I found online that directs you (thanks Google translate heh) to the pinpoint test for like the B0061:13 I was getting. I don't see anything about the last 2 digits tho:

Side note, I did find and download a 2014 F-150 Ford manual from somewhere but it oddly doesn't show any of those numbers after the first code:

Sooo maybe the one I have isn't genuine. It does however preface the above with this, saying you should start with the U codes first...

I Wonder what @FordTechOne says about all this.
P0722 is “OSS sensor no signal”. It sets when the PCM sees no RPM signal from the OSS sensor when the TSS is speed is greater than zero. The sub codes are for condition (short, open, etc) and status (current or previous fault, etc). I would start by inspecting the wiring harness from the PCM to the transmission.
