We go to Pismo in California several times a year. A few things:
First, air down. I go 15 psi front 12 rear.
Second, under no circumstances drive your truck through salt water. You won’t be able to wash it all away and bad things will happen.
Third, bring a kinetic rope and a couple soft shackles. Don’t forget an appropriate mount for the receiver hitch. You will probably get stuck, which is no big deal. We pull vehicles out all the time.
Have a great time and post pictures of your trip.

We live about 12 miles from Pismo Beach, always a good time on the beach. If you get stuck look for the "Jerk Pirates" - great group of people that help lots of people out of bad spots.

I’ve got one of their kinetic ropes and straps. Great Black Friday purchase.
