Well this is exactly the same reason my truck is in for service ( one of my problems ) they have already denied warranty for my blown power steering pump and rack and piñon quoted 1800 for that work. They have had it for one week so far and had no idea what is the 4 wh problem is. Another problem is worpped rotors but they said my brake pads are low although they haven't denied warranty yet on this work.

Why are the not covering the power steering?
Sounds like you need to find a new dealer

Yes I'm not sure my problem was isolated to the iwe"s, I believe my t case played a roll as well, the true test will be next weekend when I take the truck thru 400 miles of the Ca desert.

This popping noise, does it sound like a neutral drop in a transmission? The reason I ask is because my 2014 roush is in the shop 1 week 1800 miles with a sound that ONLY happens IN 4 wheel drive. The noise comes from the front every 20-30 seconds. It is a loud bang. The dealer replaced one of the IWE's and he said that the Ford Tech said that this is normal because of the extra power from the supercharger. Ford said that this noise will cause NO PROBLEMS. I'll try to video it tomorrow with a go pro and post.

I can provide my vin to anyone would like to use it as ammo to get your problem solved and not have to wait over 2 months and multiple trips to the dealer Like I did.
Another member here did this for me and it was all I needed to get ford to listen to me

Yes my problem was identical to yours, if you need my vin pm me so you can give this to your service manager at ford.

If they are going to replace the CV axles I would try and upgrade to the RCV's and have the Ford dealer install them instead. I put them on my jeep rubicon rock crawler HOLY S*^t what a difference. In 4 wheel drive you can turn on a dime, no jumping or noises. My 2013 Mercedes G63 has them standard from the factory.

GGOD LUCK and THANKS again!!!!

It is the IWE. It is cracked. It will loss up while under load, then skip, unload, and catch again. Making a loud bang.

I don't know if the generation 3 RCV axles where ever released for the raptor. They have had failure issues in the past they were working through. Two grand on axles that don't hold up is only going to **** you off more. Ask Beemerman.
