If I get one of these I really can't use an aux switch? There has to be a way...

There is, but honestly it is overly complicated. A rocker switch on the back of the up fitter panel is the simplest way.

I'm wanting to do this, but since I'm planning on adding a Corsa exhaust, I really don't want to hack that up for some little thrills...decision, decisions...

just save your money and put the y-pipe in. It's like $55 and 1 hr to install. I did it to save money until I could get a full exhaust but now I'm probably just going to keep it how it is it sounds so good

Looks good. I have had my cutout for 10 months now, have had no problems with my QTP.

I agree completely with you and Pat! I had the Y welded in and uncapped it at TRR. It sounded awesome! When I got back, my wife said something about it sounding louder in the garage on startup (It is!!).

So I put the Doug's cutout on, but ran out of time that evening to wire it up. I drove to work the next day and could hardly notice my exhaust and that's with a Super 10!

Off came the cutout, and I have had the Y-pipe open ever since. Sounds so beastly badass! I'm leaving it that way. It is really loud on startup, but otherwise not too loud (just a really nice rumble) unless hammer the throttle. Cops never say anything so it can't be too bad haha.

When it's inspection time, I will just cap the Y-pipe and then remove it when I turn the 1st corner!
