I have discovered that I’m very good at keeping the steering wheel completely still on long drives which will also set it off. If I wiggle it a little bit, the warning will go away. It’s annoying and I haven’t found any way to turn it off.

Also, if you're on a long straight stretch of road and don't need to make any steering inputs for a while she will assume you're AFK. I'm pretty sure this has happened to me even with lane keep assist turned off.

On long straight stretches of Arizona roads mine tells me hands on the wheel-just like our 2020 Lincoln. At first I thought it could somehow sense hands on the wheel, but later realized it is just looking for steering wheel rotational inputs.

I’ve had my truck almost 2 years. 2017 SCAB 802a with everything but graphics and carbon. Today I was driving on the highway and it flashed up a warning ’Keep Hands on Steering Wheel!’ I might have had my mind wandering a sec but definitely had two hands on the wheel.

what happened? What are the inputs for this warning?
Mine did that once. I wanted to take off my shirt. I was on a deserted road so I didn't bother pulling over. After a bit of weaving back and forth while unbuttoning and wiggling out of the shirt, that same message popped up. Big brother is watching ...
