Why the video on YouTube I can't hear nothing??? Any body knows? ??

I have not had chance to add the audio yet. Item 1001 on my todo list.

@Trick_Raptor may have an exchange program too

Uhh he is not the one the started it, I did. Patrick need to tell me something>

The exchange program is now run by Forged Offroad who can take care of any shock out there. Forged Offroad – We Rebuild Shocks – Specializing in Ford/Fox Raptor Shocks.

Oh shoot forgot to mention I've been exchanging shocks online. People send me their OEM's and I send them Gabriel shocks painted to look like Rancho's in return. They have been very happy. No complaints so far.

Does anyone know how to get the shock body and resi body off of the upper mount for the rear shocks? I assume they are threaded but I can't seem to budge them with my strap wrench.

LOTS OF HEAT. you have to break the bond of the blue lock tight. Then you have to use a clamp and or large lock jaws with towel in order to spin the body.

Is there a reason you are taking it apart? If they are not leaking there most people leave them alone.

I bought a second set of shocks so I wouldn't have any downtime with the truck. Long story short there are 2 reasons:

1. When I took the shock apart, there was only 8oz of shock oil that came out of the shock. That tells me there was a leak somewhere but there is no evidence of any leaks on the shock body.

2. The shock bodies need cleaned up. I tried a few methods already but they aren't in the best shape. I was thinking that I could take the bodies off the upper mount and walnut blast them or lathe a thousandth off, polish, replace stickers.

I would just hate to rebuild them and find that there is in fact a leak in the upper mount. Although as I type this out, its not like its hard or expensive to rebuild them.
