Ok guys need some help. I had one of my rebuilds start leaking and now I am trying to figure out what's up. If I am making a mistake on reassembly it is a uniform mistake as the result is always the same. Shock leaks from the seals in the cap as the shock cycles. The piston has some scratches in it that will catch my fingernail if I scape it across it. Pics below.

My thought is that this area of the piston is damaging the seal or is collecting fluid while cycling and then it is ejected once outside the seal upon rebound. The middle seal being folded over was also a suggestion that was made but I reassembled all four of my rebuilds the same and this is the only one having a problem. Ideas?

Use nail polish on the scratches. it will fill them and harden to take care of minor ones.

Pics Incoming later today, sorry forgot to send them. Lack of sleep with 6 week old UG.

Yeah I get it. No worries. Do you think the middle seal is still the issue and that's what the pics will be or do you think the nail Polish is a potential solution?
