The morel seem impressive, but looks like the tweeter would be hard to mount. Will they actually fit?

Crutchfield is wrong. Critchfields “compatibility checker” is not very accurate in the majority of cases. It’s a 25mm tweeter. That’s the same size tweeter as the stock tweeter. Source, I and hundreds of other people have fit them in the stock locations with zero modification.

Yes they will. I would also recommend you install sound deadener and closed cell foam on the door and as a sandwich between the door and speaker.

Has anyone that’s installed the amp had any issues with the posi tap onto the inverter wire, debating on getting power this way for the amp since it’s so much easier than doing the run to the battery.

I ran this way to start, and as long as you have a good ground it should be fine. I did eventually make a battery run though.
