GEN 1 Did my rear end go out?

Driving back from the beach yesterday I noticed my tires humming unusually loud. I also began hearing/feeling some knocking through out the vehicle and all of a sudden all my brake codes went off along with the traction control.

Once pulled over the truck start shaking really bad until stopped and I couldn't get moved over in drive any further.

The truck was towed back to Charlotte NC and currently sitting at the dealership. They cannot look at it for another day or so.

Has anyone ever experienced a rear end go out or think this is the cause? This is not on a raptor but my FX2 raptor conversion.

I had this happen in my 2013 e250 and thought it was the rear end, ended up being the transmission. Good luck.

Doesn't sound like a rear end. How many miles and what engine do you have?

2010 4.6l 3v with 67k miles and stock gearing of 3.55. Truck was violently shaking in drive and felt like the rear end was locked up
