I don't believe that to be true. My son and I saw my speedo at 109 . 2022
Haha that is funny. Now I am not saying you are wrong on a 2022. But I have seen documentation that Raptor is limited to 105, TRX is 112. According to my speedo 106 is max.
The reason I LOL is because you are looking at a device that is not 100% accurate. the difference between 105 and 109 is less than 4%. Well with in the tolerance allowed.

Base price just went up 1k. My 22 order turned 23 is now 87k. Up 6k since Dec 21.

I just built my truck on Ford.com and it’s up almost 2k from when I re-ordered in July. 7500$ from when I ordered in March
Total reason I gave up on Gen3, found a 2020 Gen2 with 17,600 miles and said **** it.

I bump 109 and hold on 35s. I have not been over 90 with my 37s. Plus I did not calibrate for 37s and it’s 3-4 miles off at 65 so I should bump 109 still but be going 115 or so.

The engine computer does not know your actual ground speed. Speed readings are based off of wheel speed sensors which have a higher frequency the faster you go, so I agree that the bigger tire turns slower so will give and artificial speed reading vs actual speed. But if you are serious about testing top speed you need better equipment than the factory speed-0. seriously, unlimited a Raptor could probably push 150 top speed. You are limited (unless tuned). Older Superduty are limited to 95, not sure about 2011 and newer they may be 105. I would love to see a data long of wheel speed. I bet a dollar the "bump" is 105-106 according to the vehicle network. The speed-o is driven by this signal but the stepper motor and even the printing of the numbers on the instrument cluster has a tolerance you are well with in that tolerance.

It isn't like you are claiming 135 mph and I am calling you a liar, I am stating that 109 shown on speed-0 is with in tolerance of the 105 factory limiter. I also agree bigger tires would slow the speed signal down which in turn would give a little more real speed.

Factory tires are speed rated to 118, Ford is not in business for law suits and has no intention of pushing the limits. Ram did 112 on the TRX just to beat the Raptor ( I assume the Raptor R will be higher)

2023 configurator is up and heated steering wheel is still included. Wouldn't it be nice to have full transparency when ordering a $76K+ truck?

I guess it's the price to pay when people are buying these things with ADM and trading up every couple years.
configurators are marketing tools not order guides... no matter what brand the latest order codes in the actual order system are the only truth

So along with making dealers obsolete, the configuration system needs a revamp.

With the amount of money we are expected to spend, these half assed systems are unacceptable.

So is ordering and paying for specific options and then getting them force-deleted yet getting a small portion of the cost back….but here we are
