You can retrofit the heated wheel. You need a couple of parts, the steering wheel, and ForScan. You can use the radio to toggle the heated steering off and on. I have a couple of heated steering wheels with the red/orange stitching.

Things keep being deleted because the trucks keep selling. Nobody is voting with their wallets and in many cases, folks are even opening them wider. Ford bean counters are laughing all the way to the bank.

I just sent my salesman a email to cancel the 2022 I ordered in January. It’s been on chip hold for months, meanwhile people paying more for 2023’s with less options already have them.

Yeah, I think Ford is doing this on purpose. I ordered Feb 1 before the price hikes that month. As soon as we re-ordered a '23 (after they told us my '22 would never be built) my truck goes into production. Meanwhile 3 Raptors showed up on my local dealership lot in the summer of '22, that weren't ordered by any customer (general stock units, not price protected).

On top of that, Ford refuses to price protect orders that weren't filled in '22 and re-ordered as '23.s It's hard to believe Ford's actions aren't intentional to make more money at our expense.

But I play that devil's advocate game all day at work!

Actually I think we agree on the "behavior", but are playing devil's advocate on the "why". Either way, I just think they could have handled it better. If your reasoning is right, I'd still have preferred a '22 produced 6 months ago and paid a little more when provided an honest explanation. That would be easier to stomach for me compared to waiting 11 months, $7,000 price increase, more missing features, a poor lack of communication, etc, etc, etc.
