GEN 2 Deberti fenders and wheels

Hey everyone,

so I have some conflict, I want to put deberti fenders on my truck but I want the wheels to be flush with it I don’t know whether to avoid spacers or not or upgrade to lengther lower and upper control arms if they sell them? I’ve heard mixed reviews on spacers I know they cause more wear and tear on the truck, I’d like to get a -offset or (deep dish) wheel to help with it. Any suggestions? The spacer would have to be like 2-3 inch I think that’s way to much

Not going to work that is way too much stress on the wheel studs. I would avoid spacers unless it is for looks as I have seen them break off on the trail. The Diberti fenders are make to run a mid travel setup which will fill out the fenders.

You're going to need to make up 5 - 6" of additional width to match those fenders and bedsides.

If you try to do that with merely wheel offset, spacers and tire width, the truck won't steer right. It won't track right ( it'll tramline constantly on any tire wider than 13.5")

I get that a lot of people want "the look", but it isn't something that you can fake.

You have to put the right suspension under the truck. it is expensive.

You can use spacers on the rear axle to square up the wheels once you do the mid-travel suspension up front. I have done it, as have many others. You may be hard-pressed to find rear spacers that use the gen2 thread pitch, so you may end up having two different thread pitch lugnuts. Gen 2 on the front, gen 1 on the rear.

you might want to chat with bajahq ( they are in SLO IIRC), SVC ( lake Forest), or HM Racing Design ( Murrietta). All of them can absolutely help you out and do the work properly.

I know a lot of people are against wheel spacers or adaptors. Land Rover has been using them for years on the Defendor 90 and 110, they are not made by LR but approved by them. I`m not sure but I think Toyota was using them on the early FJ Landcruisers
Ford uses them on the some of their truck but they are called Hub Spacers

Might not be apples to apples, but what if the manufacture designed them for a specific application?

Definitely not apples to apples. These are full hub extension bolt-on kits. I would think this still isn't as reliable as the normal hub but these are definitely much better than spacers

Hey @Ramins hope you don't mind me chiming in. But I think there are a few things worth mentioning.

The truck would be using forged billet hub centric adapters. US made, US sourced, made right here in NV. Not by us but by a local business here. BORA/Motorsport Tech. There are many arguments to be made about adapters pushing the wheels outward and the wear and tear it causes but the same can be said from running a low offset wheel.

As for the look, it won't look identical to a true long travel truck but here are a few examples of trucks that used low offset custom built wheels to make up for the added width of the fenders. Our customer @Carl Fantauzzo owns the blue truck.

Made in the USA is a plus!

I have used Bora wheel spacers on my Jeep JKUR and know that a of huge amount of Jeepers use them and beat the hell out of them. Spidertrax is a competitor of yours but I have never used them

Great pictures that you have posted too, is there a gallery on your site?
