Thank you- I sent an email to him.

---------- Post added at 08:14 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:13 PM ----------

I checked with five star but they're at msrp.

It's a free event (with breakfast!) they are putting on for us. If you want to come speak to them in a no stress environment I imagine that'd be the place to do it. Also, I'm sure one of us Houston or the Dallas guys wouldn't mind you riding shotgun at the offroad track we are going to that afternoon.

Disclaimer: I haven't dealt with them at all. But a dealer that is putting on an offroad event for us probably wouldn't be a bad place to start talking to them.

Thank you for the contact info for the Decatur Ford dealer. They took $3,600 off and I put in my order. Thanks again!

I picked mine up last week from Westway on 183. They were trying to charge $5k above invoice but I got it to $250 above invoice. My saleman told me over the phone that they would sell it at invoice. Then when I was at the dealership, they said they "added" a few things like lifetime paint protection...

All in all, I had a good experience with them. They had 5 raptors at the time, bunch of black ones that they couldn't sell and will sell at MSRP. Give them a call and see what they can do for you on a 14. I know they are trying to exceed their quota for Raptors so they can get more this next year. They even said I can stop in any time, even every day, for a full detail free of charge. Call and ask for Paris, tell him Alex the guy that haggled, and wanted the owner's Terrain colored one sent you. Honestly, best car buying experience I've had.

Oh, if you're ever in there, check out their coffee machine and free ice-cream ;).

And no, Ford doesn't give ANY discounts on the SVTs. I was qualified for all of their plans, B,D,X I believe, and wasn't able to get any, even through Ford.
Obviously I am new to this forum, but not new to other forums and car buying. I want to clear up some confusion... There is a huge difference between invoice & MSRP (sticker price). Are some of you actually paying invoice?? ...or is this forum just used to calling sticker price "invoice"?? I have not found a dealer that will go a penny below MSRP on. '14.

Alex, I went to Westway and they actually pulled your sales order and window sticker because they insisted that yours was nowhere near invoice and that they would never price a Raptor at invoice. You paid $250 over MSRP. Westway wouldn't go less than $1k over MSRP because the truck I wanted was coming into another store.

Pulled my sales order eh??! I would love to see it if you can email it to me.. Yes MSRP. Sorry I misworded it. Do you know who the sales person was? I know the owner... Who is deathly afraid of ford.. And I know some higher ups at Ford that would love to hear that one of their dealers were sharing personal info..

I do wonder how many people get "confused" between invoice and MSRP because there is a HUGE difference.

I've seen numerous examples of it on here now.

As far as pulling another order, not like we are dealing with a HIPAA violation here or anything like that. I would imagine if they showed anything, probably just the numbers and no personal information.

Everyone on the internet forums gets good deals!:licklips: When I was looking at one on the ground where I got my 2011 at 200 over the owner who I know and have sold vehicles for through referrals told me "Dave sorry but on the Limited's we are selling them at MSRP" they were working with me on my trade but in the end I could not pay that much over invoice. Hey it is just supply and demand---if they sell at MSRP then the dealer is just stupid to sell them cheaper.

The Limited Edition is harder to come by but man was that red Gorgeous!

I didn't think so... but this is the internet and everyone has an opinion.

PM sent. They didn't show me any of your "personal" info, just all the numbers on the deal. He also would not let me take the details that he had printed, not that I wanted to either. I wouldn't under-the-bus Paris for getting this for me. You are right, he really is a great guy and I think he was just trying to defend his "honor" because he kept insisting that you didn't get invoice and I told him he was lying LOL.

I have to say, this is the first forum I've been on that readily exchanges "invoice" for "msrp" ...almost every dealer I talked to was willing to do MSRP, so hearing that one would sell at invoice was an exciting proposition. Now I have been brought back to reality, and heading to put a deposit down on the in-bound truck that I found.

Dude, I PM'd you. You CAN get a raptor if you order at near invoice. People getting confused on MSRP vs. Invoice, sorry I don't understand that. There is a dealer within less than 7hr drive from you that will do this and they can even ship it down to you. Don't pay MSRP, if you can wait!
