Dealers called said they could take my order?

I’m first on the list at my Ford dealer and good friends with the GM at the dealership and he hasn’t heard a thing. I think they’ll take your order but who knows when you’re seeing the truck. I’m seriously contemplating waiting at this point since delivery most likely won’t be until fall the way things are going. You might as well get a ‘22 and see what other features are available next year.

We don’t even have a build and price yet. Maybe this week? Who knows.

I'm hoping my order goes through this Thursday and I get a '21 towards the end of summer. Thinking that the value of my '19 could be much less by the time the '22's become available late this year/early next. I doubt there will be any changes from this late '21 Raptor to the '22.

My concern as well. I don’t want inventory to start improving before I sell my current truck. But I’m not paying these used car prices for a beater to drive around.

How long until you think values for Gen 2 start to drop? Seems like Nov/Dec? This is all a guess on my part of course... I'm not selling/trading until I have a replacement Raptor. Ford has made me wait 2x for new vehicles held because of issues - first was my '17 Raptor - I think it was 4+ months sitting in Buffalo for a hold due to a transmission issue. The second was my '16 Mustang held for months because of a seatbelt issue I believe. That would stink to be first in line anticipating a '21 Raptor in late summer but something holds it up so that you get your '21 after people get their '22's and values of Gen 2 drop too... could happen in these crazy times. I hope not.

The R will have the HP From the supercharged V-8.

Received the call from the dealer yesterday. Only problem is there not taking orders for anything with the Carbon Package or the bead lock wheels with 37S. So nothing has changed for me just waiting again. He told me there producing a short run of 21s any of the special packages will be 2022.
