Wow, people in CA were paying that as a markup on top of the the MSRP?!? Private party would be the way to go. Dealerships always gonna give you lowest price.

what shocks did you choose? Mine are beyond ready...
Sorry it took so long to reply. BL3Z-18124-J for the front from Ford Parts America ($778.90), BL3Z-18125-K for the rear from Waldorf Ford ($779.81). Total prices for both sets shipped to La. about 15 months ago (didn't realize they had been sitting in my shop so long, so prices most probably changed)
Keep in mind I have a Gen1 Crewcab. The Supercab rear shocks show BL3Z-18125-L for anyone reading this with a SCAB.

I wonder if the “rebuild” aspect of our shocks is known outside the community. Id recon 80% of raptor owners don’t even know you’re supposed to do that. A buddy of mine has a 2017 with 100K and has never had the shocks rebuilt, didn’t even really know that was a thing.

I recently traded my 2019 with 120,000 miles for a 2018 with 38,000 miles…. I got $35,000 for the traded 2019, and got them down to 53,000 for the 2018. (they were asking $56,000.)
