Well if anyone knows where I can get one for msrp let me know I will buy right now. I agree with most that they have already priced the truck to make themselves decent money and the markup is just ridiculous but I get it people keep paying it so they will keep charging it. I'll just wait
I think the problem now is the total lack of allocations. When I did the "hunt" back in October, I found a few dealers within a reasonable distance to me willing to do MSRP. None of the dealers local to me were willing to do anything, nor did they have allocations. Farther away, two had allocations, two did not. The rest were all ADM, and even some of those had no allocations. The dealer I ended up with with had 5 allocations. Three were gone and my buddy and I took #4 and 5. To this day, his order has not received a VIN. As of early February, mine was still the only one out of the 5 that had a VIN. I don't know about the other three today but they expected to receive more allocations but have not received any more to date. So these dealers with the crazy ADM's seem to know allocations are far and few between and continue to justify the big markups. Until the allocations are flowing again (who knows when that will be), I don't see much changing.

I paid msrp for truck, but it's not worth 82k or even 20k below msrp. 45K max would be a good deal. I could only afford an msrp deal because I sold my 18 for more than orginal purchase price and I found a bag of unmarked $100 bills worth 50K by house while jogging.

You all gotta stop beating down dealers charging ADM and people willing to pay ADM. The dealers have NO inventory. You live in a "free market" society. Supply is low, demand is high. ADM changes the demand curve, but obviously not enough for dealers to stop doing it. So chill out!
If the person decides that they are willing to pay the ADM, that's their call, it's not stupid... b/c someone WILL pay it. These cars WILL sell. So if you have the luxury or patience to wait for a year or two for things to settle.. great. If you were lucky enough to buy before ADM became the standard for raptors... congrats. But for buyers "today" ADM is the market. Get over it!

My argument isnt that people paying ADM is stupid.... My point is not that ADMs are the devil, my point is that ridiculous ADMs are wrong (to me). Some markup is to be expected, but $20k over sticker is just greedy. Thats a 20 -30 percent increase OVER MSRP (depending on the sale price). Not only that, from the research ive done, dealers are making record profits. So its not that they are doing it because they "have NO inventory", they're doing it because theyre greedy blood sucking ****** that like to take advantage of people.

A "free market" isnt a good enough excuse to me. But to each their own. We all have opinions, yours is just wrong. (kidding lol)

There was a time not long ago when the terms ADM or market adjustment did not exist. But was called price gouging, and businesses were fined. My, how times change.

Well…simple fix. Don’t allow yourself to be taken for a fool…excuse me, advantage of. Don’t blame the dealer!

I didnt. I am paying MSRP. I just think its crooked and that all car salesmen are evil and deserve to be chemically castrated to end their bloodline. But like I said, to each their own. lol

Lol Absolutely not, the gubment needs to go on and mind their own business. I think people just need to be less greedy and take a little extra care to help of their fellow man. Or at least not rip them off. Its a people problem in my opinion. Again.... Its just my opinion!
