You need to post the dealer info - as a community service to prevent others from getting f'ed.

And I can't imagine any resolution short of them buying the truck back. Keep taking it back with documentation of the flaws (dirt/salt covered up and overspray) and once they've had it more than 3 times for the same issue or 30 days in a year, start a lemon law buy back.

Will will post dealer info, waiting to speak with the ford regional manager first. The sales team were very good, the problem is the GM and the clowns that were allowed to damage to my brand new truck. I want a new truck, fat chance that will happen.

Lemon law is not in scope. The dealer screwed this up with aftermarket services. Ford will not buy back.

Yep. This is entirely on the dealership management / ownership to stand behind their name and workmanship and make this right for the customer.

They should be able to take your truck in as a trade.....and sell you a new truck at invoice and they will not be out of very much money at all, and it will make you happy.

They can then sell your truck as a used vehicle and not have to deal with fixing their screw up. just buyer beware to who ever buys that truck.

I’m hoping to be compensated for this mess

If I could order a 19 how I want it at invoice and them take mine back on trade for what I paid would make this right.

Wow. Just wow.

Sorry but I think the only way you will get resolution of this is small claims court. Go and get quotes to rectify from a body shop and then pay a lawyer to write one demand letter for you.

Then file with your local court.

Thanks guys for understanding!
The dealer says it was just a mistake and this is the best they can do. I have a VERY short fuse/temper It has been beyond difficult to remain calm and not loose my shit over this. I wanted to go ape shit on them! I knew it would not get me anywhere.

Yeah, don't bother losing your temper. It won't have a positive outcome.

Small claims court is easy and they can't send a lawyer. You can also claim for your time, filing fees and potentially, punitive damages. In the majority of cases they will settle once you have filed, if they don't they have to explain to the judge personally why they won't rectify the damage they inflicted.

Don't be too upset. You can have a body shop restore the underside to much better than new specs and get the dealer to pay for it via the court. Bit of a headache but live and learn.

That really is a shame. Hard to believe that was done. Plus the end result. Wow, just WOW.
