Hey. Idea here. Have them buy upper and lower control arms for you from SVC or another vendor. Also have them replace the skid and other parts effected. Might be worth a shot.

They are in denial they did anything wrong. I just want it removed! I’m being very reasonable! Not using it as leverage for anything, maybe I should.

Well i know what i would do,call an attorney ASAP and have them either replace the truck or replace every part that they screwed up.
That is unbelievable that they did all that.
Small claims court - maybe Judge Judy will grab this case.
You can sue for up to $5k in Small Claims court and they cannot bring any lawyers, but neither can you.

"their top Detailer" means a minimum wage 16yo with a rotary buffer and a bucket of dirty water.

1. Take it to a pro detailer, get a quote for removal of overspray.
2. Take it to reputable body shop to get a second quote for removing all undercoat and reapplying after cleaning
3. Lawyer up.

I just picked up my truck....They clearly did not have their top detailer on it! I have swirl marks and scratches in a few areas that I could see, it’s dark out. There is still overspray in areas. They did a half ass attempt to remove undercoating, the workmanship is so terrible! It is like complete sabotage!!! They scraped the paint off the dif cover, it’s now bare metal. I can’t believe it is as bad as it is!!!!!!!! I will speak with a lawyer for sure! Oh and it’s a white truck! We all know how forgiving white is! This whole experience has been so bad, beyond how I could ever imagine!

Holy shit! Best of luck, I would have an attorney fire off a letter, like yesterday. I would want a big chunk of money or a new truck.

Heck, you might take it to a body shop and get a quote to make everything right, or even take it to a few other dealers and have them evaluate it for trade in. Just to have some numbers to throw in their face.

I can’t imagine what you’re going through!
Get an Attorney for sure. Cost of a letter will be money well spent.
If it were me, I would insist they replace all removable parts that were sprayed (shocks, control arms, etc...), then wrap the entire truck with PPF. The PPF to be done by a reputable company that knows how to do it right.
The other option could be that you sue for damage done to your truck. Their attempt to fix the issue proves that they are not capable to correct their mistake.
Let’s face it...their attempt to remove the overspray (and their attitude) was a slap in your face, and the damage will only get worse if they continue trying.

You need to post the dealer info - as a community service to prevent others from getting f'ed.

And I can't imagine any resolution short of them buying the truck back. Keep taking it back with documentation of the flaws (dirt/salt covered up and overspray) and once they've had it more than 3 times for the same issue or 30 days in a year, start a lemon law buy back.

Sucks man. That is rough. Thankful I didn't get a dealer installed undercoating on my truck. Went with a DIY protectant instead.
