Dead Pedal Question

Put mine in, as originally designed - no spacers, and it's good for me! A real solid location for my left foot to brace against. Plus it leaves a bit of room flat on the floorboard for alternate foot placement on long trips.

My installation of a dead pedal. Extensively modified Mustang pedal. Cut and welded to square it with its mounting surface and other pedals. Also cut and welded in a one inch extension to bring it out from the floor to fit my 5' 10" height. It is 1.5" away from the kick panel, 3.25" out from the firewall floor carpet, and 5" away from the emergency brake when the brake is fully depressed.
