I miss my Gen 1 dearly. I work in rural areas, lots of gravel, dirt and muddy roads. This Gen 2 has been a huge disappointment. The truck literally bounces over intersections. I had a turbo go and I think it has more engine issues. I’d say I have 450hp between 4,200-4,500rpm. The rest of the time it is lugging. I’ve had it for 9 months and it is going to auction soon. I should have stuck to my guns and replaced my gen1 with a better used gen 1. The gen 1 engine/suspension combo was perfection as far as a factory setup goes. This gen 2 is more for looks and less for function. Ford missed the mark on mine anyways.

Is this a tire pressure thread or a "miss the V8" thread....just curious.

Also, my .02, I personally like the aesthetics of the Gen 1 over the Gen 2. Coming down the road or in a parking lot you can easily discern that the Gen 1 is not like any other truck on the street. The Gen 2 seems to blend in more...

To the OP....I left a very torquey 5.6L Nissan V-8 and after a short while not too bothered with the EB...
The Good: Once it spools up, it flat hauls the mail...and it laughs at hills..overall enjoy the EB
The Bad: Only time it seems lacking is off roading and you nail it the lag is there...found shifting manually and keeping the revs up around 3K helped a lot..

Last thing: Towed a 6500 lb trailer for only a short 10 miles but this thing just didn't care that there was a trailer behind it...looking foreward to doing a real tow test..
